The Sun Will Shine Again

how far to travel
like an aimless journey
with a chaotic and aching mind
through this dark and forbidding path
in quest of a source of sun shine
the road ahead is like what left behind
at times seen sunshine afar
was mirage when reached near!

They say life is beautiful
but time has made me a child of despair
why did I change?
I miss the days when-
every day was a new canvas for me!
have struggles gone in vain?
perhaps struggles needed perfection
need to rise above sufferings and miseries
the sun will shine again someday
